BCS Principal Lobbies Tennessee Legislators
Wednesday, July 14th, 2009. BCs Principal, Jeff Mitchell joined 90 other Benefit Advisors from United Benefit Advisors Principals, along with some 1000 other insurance professionals on Capitol Hill to lobby against a national healthcare plan that would demean the current system, reduce choice, or ration care. Mitchell personally visited with Tennessee Legislators, Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexancer and Congressmen John Tanner, Bart Gordon and Zach Wamp. Other topics of discussion were improvements in the current systems, cost reduction strategies, Improving access to healthcare vs. engineering govt run insurance, and utilizing the talents of those that work in the industry to craft a plan of reform.
