12/2004 - Present - Benefit Consulting Services, Jackson, TN As technical projects manager for BCS, Stanley initiates and manages all aspects of our e-benefits communication and technology tools. In this capacity, he is responsible for the set-up and continuous improvement of our benefits management software programs. These tools enable our clients efficient systems and technology for improved benefits management and communication. Stanley trains client administrators in their uses. Benefit Administration is also part of his responsibilities that provides clients with new hire benefit orientation, monthly bill reconciliation, claim assistance and annual enrollment procedures. 09/2003 - 12/2004 - Manpower Professional/Aerotek/The Access Group in Jackson, TN, Nashville, TN and Hendersonville, TN Industrial Engineering Consultant for three agencies. Project analysis work performed for Armstrong Floor Products in Jackson, TN; the Eaton Corporation; the Pliant Corporation; and Calsonic Kensai, a tier-1 automotive supplier to Nissan. During these projects, he conducted time studies and capacity analysis; developed work instructions and training; provided product costing and was a supplier quality engineer. 06/2002 - Present - Jackson State Community College, Jackson, TN As an adjunct instructor, Stanley is a certified facilitator for Achieve Global Leadership. This training is offered to employees and management of various types of industry and service and is part of the Continuing Education Department of the college. Participant completing the courses receive Continuing Education Units (CEU's) and certificates. The training modules concentrate on teambuilding, leadership development and quality improvement. Stanley has consistently received excellent instructor ratings from participants. 10/2000 - 12/2001 - GMP Metal Products, Humboldt, TN As the Manufacturing Engineer of this metal stamping operation, Stanley directed Kaizen events improving efficiency and safety of overall operations. 10/1997 - 10/2000 - Ormet Aluminum Mill Products, Jackson, TN Stanley's position was Industrial Engineer for this aluminum mill rolling operation. In this position, he performed time studies and recommended efficiency improvements for the aluminum sheet plant and foil plant. He served on the Safety Committee and was an ISO 9000 internal auditor. 07/1996 - 09/1997 - Excell-Home Fashions, Goldsboro, NC Stanley served as Plant Industrial Engineer managing production rates, product manufacturing specifications, plant budget, and maximization of warehousing and distribution facilities storage.
6/1980 - 11/1995 - Lee Apparel in Boaz AL, Florence, AL, Winston-Salem, NC and Jackson, TN For over fifteen years, Stanley served as an Industrial Engineer responsible for workforce training and safety, direction of continuous improvement projects, product costing, time and motion studies, job descriptions and work instructions, plant layouts, and quality initiatives. While with Lee, Stanley received recognition for lowest training cost per employee; highest profit improvement; and first place in the safety audit of 44 facilities.
