Keith Patterson

Benefits Analyst and Underwriter

Keith has been with BCS since March 2001 and  currently serves as the senior benefits consultant.  Keith's expertise, although broad, is concentrated more specifically with our larger clients and benefit committees in designing, marketing, communicating, and managing their self funded health and welfare benefits.   Through Keith's leadership and expertise BCS has assisted several clients with trend setting strategic initiatives yielding fantastic results.

Prior to joining BCS, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at Charter Benefit Administrators, a third party administration claims payer, in Franklin, TN.  Charter's market niches were specialized  self-funded medical, dental, and short-term disability benefit plans.  

He has also served as a financial advisor and risk consultant for large and small companies throughout Tennessee and is currently on the broker advisory panels for BlueCross BlueShield of TN and Cigna Health Care.  He was part of the pilot program for Hartford Life and National Underwriter for their Vault Program focusing on disability management where he earned perfect scores in achieving their Group Benefits Disability Specialist designation.  Keith's experiences and knowledge make him a great resource to both BCS and its clients.  

Keith is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the College for Financial Planning.  He is a member of Fellowship Bible Church, where he teaches 6th grade Sunday school.
